A most impressive walnut writing table/desk from around 1900. This has a bit of an Arts and Crafts influence. A good useable size with a sensible kneehole height of 63 cms. All the castors are original, all work swivel and roll. There is a central drawer with neat little brass handles. Not original but almost certainly a bit older than the desk. The tooled leather has some signs of use of course but is in overall pretty good condition and has no rips or tears or scuffing. We have cleaned and rewaxed this and it is now ready for a new home where it can be appreciated for another 120 years or so. A nice tidy useful item that looks really good.
