Modelled in a Rococo Revival style, the piece portrays a Bacchanalian procession featuring a slumped central figure on an ass supported by a bacchic attendant, a loosely draped maiden feeding grapes to the animal, and a cherub at the rear. The work employs a multicoloured palette of pastel enamels, accented with gilded acanthus leaves on the moulded scrollwork base and grapevine wreaths atop the heads of the characters. Hand-painted floral patterns decorate the seated maiden's blue and white garments, while soft pink fabric drapes over the standing attendant. The whole group rests upon an ornate, multi-lobed scroll-moulded base adorned with raised white and gold leaf detailing. Measuring 21 cm high, 20 cm wide, and 12 cm deep, this decorative figurine is suited for display on a mantelpiece within a traditional interior setting.
