Well figured satinwood card or games table with decorative rosewood cross-banding ,line inlay and reserves . Of D-shaped form , raised on elegant tapering square-section supports with line inlay and rosewood collars .
The brass-hinged fold-over green baize felt-lined interior supported on a fold-out double gate-leg action to the rear , forming a stable playing surface when opened .
In excellent original condition , with a mellow colour to the West Indian satinwood, providing a striking contrast to the darker rosewood banding .
A classic late Georgian period table of elegant proportions, for use as a side or console table and having the facility to use as card or games table when opened .
