A beautiful Antique Belgian Flanders tapestry of the last Supper late 19th Century in date.

The tapestry has a captivating illuminating light with beautiful vibrant colours, it depicts the painting of The Last Supper a 15th-century mural painting by Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci housed by the refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, Italy.

The Last Supper portrays the reaction given by each apostle when Jesus said one of them would betray him. All twelve apostles have different reactions to the news, with various degrees of anger and shock.

Beautifully framed in its original antique oak gilt and glazed frame.
