Description

This well-documented WILLIAM de MORGAN Dust-Pressed ROSE TILE, from his Chelsea Period, dates from circa 1880.

The back of the TILE bears the mark of the ARCHITECTURAL POTTERY Co, POOLE, DORSET who made blanks which de MORGAN decorated.

There are minor nicks and chips to the edges. There is no restoration.

Dimensions: 6 inches (15 cm) square
