Orientalist ceramics from this era typically depict figures, scenes, and architectural elements inspired by North Africa and the Middle East, reflecting a strong European fascination with Eastern cultures.

These figures were primarily fashioned from terracotta or white earthenware clay, then meticulously hand-painted with polychrome enamels and sometimes glazed or fired with metallic patinas.

Authentic pieces usually feature impressed factory marks, model numbers, and artist signatures, alongside characteristic weight, fine hand-painted details, and period-appropriate craquelure or firing characteristics.

Such a substantial statement piece works best positioned in an open area like an entryway or empty corner, allowing it to serve as a focal point without cluttering the spatial flow.

Maintain stable indoor humidity and temperature levels, keep the sculpture out of direct sunlight to prevent pigment fading, and dust gently using a soft, dry brush.
