M Lees and Sons has dated this Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Table to the Edwardian era.
Raised on box-wood inlaid tapering and faceted legs with box-wood inlaid Moorish-style arcading above . Fitted with one full-width oak-lined drawer with lock and key and fitted two opposing hinged cupboards to the frieze. The lower platform base with satinwood cross-banded inlay and box-wood strung edge. The octagonal top with moulded edges.

This rare form table takes it's design influence from the highly-fashionable Moorish and Eastern taste of the period , but clearly English-made in a top quality cabinet-makers' workshop.
Possibly by the likes of 'Collinson & Lock' , 'Edwards & Roberts' or 'James Shoolbred & Co.' of London ,though unmarked or stamped.
In excellent original condition , with no losses , damage or repairs.
Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
