Beautifully decorated with a raised iris flower and sweeping foliage against an intricately textured background, the hinged lid displays attractive floral detailing with contrasting silver and warm gilt-toned highlights.

The underside features further finely worked floral and foliate decoration, continuing the botanical theme across the piece.

Opening on a small metal hinge, the compact reveals a fitted circular mirror within the lid and a shallow compartment decorated with an elegant floral design.
