Hand Carved French Wine Press Screw Thread

Description

A late 18th or early 19th century hand-carved walnut screw thread from a substantial grape press. Found in Burgundy, France, it has later added base and top boards.

A real talking point in any room, it makes an ideal stand for a pot, bronze or ornament. Alternatively it works well as a standalone piece.
