Unusual George III vernacular oak painted tripod table; rare original naïve paintwork; the circular tilting top finely painted, depicting a charming tavern scene of many figures and dogs enjoying various pastimes, having a simulated specimen marble border. Raised on a well turned and vase shaped column on three cabriole legs retaining its worn painted finish. The underside of the table with its original metal catch and historic iron brackets.
