French Louis XV Style Marble Top Gilt Console Table

Description

Super quality and well proportioned late 19th century French water gilt Carrara marble top wall mounted console table, circa 1880.

Very decorative with the shaped sweeping legs and foliate mouldings, raised on hoof feet. The original water gilding has mellowed beautifully with age and is in great condition.

The thick and shaped Carrara marble top contrasts perfectly with the gilt base, being a neutral tone with a charcoal figuring.

Wall mounted so you don’t have any legs to the front corners getting in the way, just needs a secure wall to be fitted to.

The wall fittings are supplied.
