Description

A finely proportioned antique English work table, veneered in richly figured burr walnut and raised on an elaborate turned base. The rectangular top and two drawer fronts display swirling, highly decorative grain, framed by narrow moulded edges that emphasise the compact case. Both drawers retain their keyholes, with the upper drawer fitted internally with a series of small divided compartments designed for sewing implements, threads and other accessories. The lower drawer provides additional open storage, making the piece practical as well as decorative.
