Philip Hunt Antiques has dated this Regency Pedestal Dining Table to the 1920s.
The turned central columns are particularly attractive, featuring finely carved and fluted decoration.

The generous table top extends by means of a traditional pull-out mechanism to accommodate up to two additional leaves, which are securely held in position by traditional brass clips. The top is constructed from carefully matched mahogany timbers and is further enhanced by decorative moulded edges, adding to the table's refined appearance.

When fully extended, this magnificent dining table will comfortably seat 16 to 18 guests, making it an outstanding table for entertaining on a grand scale.
Presented in good condition, this is a superb example of Regency style furniture, combining impressive scale, elegant design and practical versatility.
