An Unusual Regency Rosewood Drum Table

Description

An unusual Regency Rosewood drum table. Raised on a tripod base with swept legs and Lion's paw feet with castors under, all supporting the turned column and revolving top which has four drawers, three dummy drawers and one swing out pen drawer, all with original turn wooden knobs and working locks. The top has a wide banding of Goncalo Alves and an inset black leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooling. In very good and original condition. 730mm high and 1170mm diameter. Possibly Irish. Circa 1840.
