Victorian Adjustable Display Stand Table

19th century
Description

A good quality adjustable display stand dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It stands on an ornate heavy cast iron base with lions paw feet and large brass castors. It has a round mahogany table top with an inset black leather surface which is supported by a brass upright. The height can be adjusted using the tightening screw on the side.

It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. All the parts move well and there are no major damages. There are of course signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it has a lovely patina.

Approximate Dimensions :

Width across base : 16” (41cm)

Diameter of top : 14” (36cm)

Height (lowest) : 32” (81cm)

Height (highest) : 45” (114cm)
