A Rare Elegant And Original French Empire Planter/Wine Bottle Stand Circa 1810-20


Mahogany with painted, fine carved and gilded dolphins and original brass liner.

Still standing on its original carved and gilded claw feet.

All over in strong used condition with beautiful patination, no missing pieces.

It is rare to find this French type of original planters in this shape of the first period 1810-20.

Please note, that you can not compare our original first period French empire planter with the common Dutch " tea stoves" also with 3 dolphin legs but with a complete different shaped top section, with the brass liner.
