Satinwood Bijouterie Circa 1880

Description

A superb satinwood bijouterie circa 1880. The serpentine shaped top has ebony and boxwood stringing around the glass. The tapering legs have ebony stringing and are joined by curved stretchers which also have ebony stringing.

Comes with a working lock and key.

An elegant, good quality piece of furniture with an unusual shape in desirable satinwood.

This Victorian display table dates from 1880 and takes the form of a satinwood bijouterie piece in a golden brown tone. The serpentine top has ebony and boxwood stringing surrounding an oval glazed aperture, and the sides feature glass panels backed by blue fabric.
