Description

A substantial 18th century oak gateleg dining table of generous proportions, raised on eight turned legs united by stretchers and terminating in traditional bun feet. The oval top is formed from wide solid oak planks with two drop leaves, supported by a pair of swinging gatelegs which extend smoothly to provide a large dining surface.

The table displays an excellent colour and rich patina, with particularly attractive figuring throughout the plank top. Honest wear, small historic marks and age-related character add to its authenticity and appeal.
