Description

French Louis XV style giltwood and marble top coffee table c.1930. 1¼" thick pink marble top with a moulded edge. Carved wooden base with shaped apron and legs with carved floral detail and original gilded finish. Obvious wear to the gilding revealing the white gesso ground below. Otherwise good condition, solid and sturdy.

French Louis XV style giltwood and marble top coffee table c.1930. 1¼" thick pink marble top with a moulded edge. The rectangular piece stands on four curved cabriole legs ending in scroll feet and features a shaped apron with carved floral detail. A thick pink and red veined marble top with a moulded edge sits atop the carved wooden base, which has an original gilded finish displaying obvious wear to the gilding that reveals the white gesso ground below.
