A fine quality Regency period mahogany tilt-top breakfast table of particularly desirable small proportions, dating to circa 1820.
The rectangular top with rounded corners displays a beautifully figured mahogany ground, bordered by a striking crossbanded edge in contrasting timber, typical of the Regency period and adding warmth and visual interest.
Raised on a quadripartite base with elegant reeded sabre legs, terminating in original brass caps and castors, the table offers both stability and ease of movement.
Of excellent colour and patina throughout, this is a highly practical and versatile piece — ideal as a breakfast, centre, or occasional table — and perfectly suited to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
