Antique Tom Hill Oak Boot Jack.

A good quality free standing oak boot jack with ivorine trade label “ Tom Hill,London SW1(Knightsbridge) Ltd”.The front frame being two square supports below a turned T handle.The footplate has it’s original old leather cover and is also shaped to take the heel of the boot whilst the swinging centre splat restrains the toe area of the boot. This type of traditional boot jack makes removing your foot from the boot a lot easier and without the need for help. It is ideal for riding boots or wellingtons and is a really strong boot jack. The maker Tom Hill held the Royal Bootmakers warrant until selling out to Henry Maxwell. Good should original condition. English Circa 1930.
