Fine Antique Carved Chinese Altar Table Rosewood

Description

This is a superb 19th century Chinese altar table in really outstanding condition dating from around 1870.

The table is in fine quality rosewood and has a wonderful rich colour and glowing antique patina.

This has a really characterful design with hand carved birds on branches among prunus blossom and simulated bamboo to the legs and frieze.

This is in good sound condition and is an imposing piece at high 138 cms wide 99 cms high by 40 deep.

UK delivery can be arranged with our furniture courier and costs £70 plus vat to most destinations.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
