A beautiful pair of antique Samson Hancock Derby shallow bowls, decorated in the highly sought-after King’s Pattern Imari design, dating to the circa 1860s. These elegant pieces are excellent examples of 19th-century English Derby porcelain, renowned for its vibrant colours and intricate decoration.
 
Each bowl is richly decorated in the traditional Imari palette of deep cobalt blue, iron red, and gilt highlights, with elaborate pattern work characteristic of Samson Hancock Derby’s celebrated King’s Pattern. The detailed design combines scrolling foliage, stylised motifs, and fine gilded accents, creating a striking and highly decorative effect typical of Victorian Derby porcelain.
