An 18th Century Walnut Mortar.
With a flat topped circular rim, over a rounded and inward swept collar, surrounding the rounded body, centred by a horizontal rounded banding. The body sweeping into a concave and rounded foot banding, before the straight sided plinth base.
Date circa 1750.
Height 7 1/4 inches, 18.5cm.
Diameter 6 1/4 inches, 16cm.
