Early 20th c. Solid Brass Industrial Padlock – Walsall, Dated 1915

An original solid brass industrial padlock by Walsall Locks & Cart Gear Ltd, clearly stamped and dated 1915.

Of robust riveted construction with a sliding keyway cover and heavy steel shackle. These locks were made for practical use on carts, wagons and industrial stores, rather than for domestic purposes.

The surface retains its original patina with wear consistent with age and use. Fully working with later key
