This is an antique four-strike palazzo wall chime. An Italian, brass and oak dinner gong, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Superb wall decoration with dulcet tones and a striking diamond form

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order

Brass cymbals show light weathering, with a reflective golden finish

Select oak for the plinth shows fine grain interest and rich caramel hues

Plinth hosts four individual notes, for a melodic call to dinner

Each cymbal suspended upon brass arms with leather straps

Pierced brass inlay accentuates the plinth with profuse foliate detail

Each point of the diamond hosts a gilt brass scallop shell emblem
