Philip Carrol Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

Over the river can be seen the Augustus Bridge, the Frauenkirche, and the Katholische Hofkirche, all within a rectangular gilt panel; within a quatrefoil gilt scroll cartouche, on a cobalt blue ground. The reverse with a panel of flowers and insects.

Having a scroll spout and a branch leaf handle, heightened in gilt.
The cover with a large bud finial.
Titled ‘Dresden ’, in black script.
Provenance – Chatsworth House, Derbyshire. Lot 775, Sothebys, 5th October, 2010.
Height – 21.5 cm, 8 1/2”.
Width (Handle to spout)- 17.5 cm, 6 7/8”.
Condition – Finial professionally, invisibly re attached. Otherwise in excellent condition.
