Oak Stick and Umbrella Stand

Description

A distinguished oak stick and umbrella stand, designed in a tall, four-sided form with finely reeded panelling on all faces. Two broad brass reinforcement bands encircle the body, each set with small rivets that give the piece a subtle industrial elegance. The standout feature is the cast-brass lion-mask mount on the front, complete with a hinged ring—an iconic decorative motif that adds grandeur and presence.

The top retains its original metal liner and a fitted grid insert, allowing sticks, canes, and umbrellas to be neatly separated. The stand rests on a moulded plinth base and showcases a warm, even patina consistent with well-cared-for antique oak.

A practical and stylish addition to any entrance hall, offering both storage and a strong decorative statement.
