Gilt and Gesso has dated this piece to the 1870s.
A rare large scale 2 tier wrought iron plant or conservatory stand with original distressed white paint over galvanised iron frame and lattice work.

An ornate conservatory or orangery plant stand, rare to discover a stand of this scale, structurally excellent and cosmetically very good, with evidence of a timeworn patination and character.

A superbly stylish English country house, orangery/cinservatory stand, circa 1870-1880 of both practical use and considerable decorative appeal, an interior design piece for a classic or contemporary space. The metal is galvanised and hence no rust.

Please note that 1 end has a diamond lattice decoration to the side, the opposite is open, otherwise original and stands well. A robust piece that can withstand weight and potentially a bench for a hall etc..,
