An attractive 19th Century butler''s tray on folding stand. It has X-frame legs and the mahogany tray has raised sides and two carrying handles. It is good quality and the mahogany has developed a nice rich patina.
It is in good original condition with no major damages. There are signs of age and use, a few surface marks, minor splits and some wear and light knocks on the legs but nothing detrimental and it displays very nicely. It is strong and sturdy and has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
