Description

A fine antique oak dinner gong featuring a beautifully crafted solid oak frame with turned supports and a decorative fret-cut crest rail. The frame has a rich, warm patina and stands on sturdy bracketed feet joined by a turned stretcher for stability. The hand-beaten brass gong hangs from a thick cord, producing a deep, resonant tone when struck.

The mallet, while in keeping with the period style, is a later replacement and complements the piece nicely.

A handsome and functional addition to any hallway or dining room, this dinner gong combines traditional craftsmanship with enduring charm.
