Black Forest Full Size Carved Plaque of Pheasant, Fruits,

Description

This really needs to be seen to properly appreciate the clever craftmanship of this carved wooden plaque.

Made around 1880 this piece is a wonderful tribute to the Autumn season with all its fruits ,corn ears , nuts and foliage. The Pheasant is full size.

The plaque is solid and has been completely checked over by our Cabinet Maker and the colour is now burnished with a beautiful patina.
