A Pair of French 19th Century Hand Embroidered Crewel Work Framed Panels 182cm.

A striking pair of framed, French crewel work, hand embroidered floral decorative panels, circa late 19th century.

An impressive pair of exquisitely embroidered, with a rich assortment of floral scenes and colour, French crewel work or tapestry panels measuring 182cm within simple pine frames, professionally framed in Marylebone, London circa 1980s, label to the reverse.

A vivid display of colour, hand embroidered with a mixture of wool, cotton and silk threads.

A wonderful pair of skilfully hand made antique textile panels of considerable decorative appeal and imposing scale. An interior design pair of wall art antique panels that can enhance a classic or contemporary space.

Each panel has wall fixing points to the rear and behind glass.
