Fine Antique English Porcelain has dated this piece to the Georgian era.

The border decorated with panels of single roses against a white background and a band of 'Smith's Blue' with gilt foliate ornament by Thomas Soar and painted white enamel 'jewels'.
Gilders mark '1' in puce in the footrim for Thomas Soar and a Crown over cross batons and the letter 'D' to the centre of the reverse.

Condition: Good with no cracks or restoration. Very small chip to the rim on the reverse. Some surface scratches to the central painted panel.
