This is a beautiful mid 19th century Papier Mache tray in lovely condition for its age circa 1850.

The tray is highly decorated in wonderful rich colours with hand gilded detail and is a lovely shape. This is possibly by Jennens & Bettridge who were the most prominent manufacturer during this era and this piece is similar in style and quality to their work.

The dish measures 38 cms by 27 cms by 7 cms high.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
