Highly decortive and finely worked 19th century or earlier French petit point embroidery.

The central cartouche with three turrets topped with a crown and flanked by two greyhounds.

Soft colours and fine condition, the frame with very minor losses mentioned for accuracy.

Wonderful decorative antique that would suit most scheme.
