Elmgarden has dated this French Gilt Folding Screen to the 19th Century.
The screen is a substantial piece, it is the best quality, the hinging is in solid brass this is a stunning piece, it is large and very heavy, it is in good condition with very little wear and slight foxing to the mirrors, and would work well as either a room divider or as a dressing screen
The screen is 59” high and when fully extended it is 64” wide (each fold is about 16” wide), and it is over 1” thick
