A Georgian occasional table c1800, with a lipped top made from a single piece of well figured mahogany, and a turned column base with spiral turned urn, terminating in tripod feet.
Condition: The top would have tilted originally, but at some point it has been secured in place, with possibly some repairs carried out to the top of the column - it is a little hard to tell whether this was just to fix the top in place or whether some damage had occurred that necessitated this work. Otherwise it is in good condition and feels good and solid. The top is a little uneven. The timber has some minor surface wear and marks in accordance with age and use.
