This delightful PAIR OF ENGLISH REGENCY PORCELAIN CUPS AND SAUCERS bear the mark of DAVENPORT of LONGPORT, STAFFORDSHIRE. They date from circa 1820.

Beautifully painted sprays of English Country Garden Flowers and Foliage are set within APPLE GREEN bands, edged with gilt decoration.

The condition is good. There is no restoration.

Height of Cup: 2.75 inches (6.5 cm)

Diameter of Saucer: 5.5 inches (14 cm)

This pair of Regency tea cups and saucers from Davenport of Longport, Staffordshire, originates from circa 1820. Fabricated from porcelain and bone china, the set presents an apple green ground combined with white interiors and rich gold leaf gilding. Hand-painted floral spray reserves sit centrally on the saucers and below the green borders on the cups, complemented by gilt foliate scrolling, loop handles, and gilded rims. The cups stand 6.5 cm high, and the saucers measure 14 cm wide by 14 cm deep.
