Large Antique Victorian Mahogany Console Table

Description

An outstanding large antique Victorian mahogany console table, made in England and dating from around the 1840-1850 period.

It is of the utmost quality, crafted from absolutely gorgeous solid mahogany. It is a large and impressive size, it is extremely rare to find an early model like this. The legs are beautifully turned and fluted, this is a strong and sturdy item.

We have had this stripped and re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor historical wear and small marks remaining here and there. This has a gorgeous colour tone and patina.

Depth – 19 inches , 48 cm

Height to back gallery – 37 inches , 94 cm

Height to table top – 34.5 inches , 88 cm
