Pair of Staffordshire pottery pigeons, Thomas Parr factory, c. 1860. Amusingly modelled as two pigeons, standing upon tall, grassy mound bases. The birds having well defined feathers, and coloured in vibrant enamels.

Height – 26 cm, 10 1/4”.

Width – 12 cm, 4 3/4”.

Depth – 6.5 cm, 2 1/2”.

Condition – Very minor wear to the enamels. No damage. No restoration.
