A French dowry sheet is a traditional household textile traditionally included in a brides trousseau in 19th and early 20th-century France, often featuring hand-woven fabrics and intricate needlework.

Metis linen is a traditional textile woven from a blend of linen and cotton yarns, offering the crisp texture of linen with increased durability and a softer drape.

Authentic pieces typically feature hand-spun plant fibres with slight natural irregularities, hand-stitched seams, and hand-embroidered monograms executed in traditional whitework techniques such as bourdon stitch or broderie anglaise.

Vintage textiles add tactile warmth and layered texture to contemporary spaces, and can be used as lightweight bed covers, curtain panels, or decorative throws.

Antique linens should be hand washed or laundered on a gentle machine cycle using mild, chemical-free detergent, and dried flat in natural shade to protect the fragile fibres.
