19th century sampler, 'Alice Birtwell, Work, Finished, September 9 1847', 'Solomons Temple', impressive building embroidery with words above, flanked by angel trumpeters 'When Solomons temple was raised, Its grander no mortal can tell, The Lord by his people was praised, He descended among them to dwell, This building was set on moria, Enriched with much silver and gold, For to represent the mesiah, Who should die for the sheep of is fold', with stylised borders with vine design,
