Victorian Marquetry Card Table

An elegant Victorian rosewood fold-over card table featuring exquisite marquetry decoration. The beautifully shaped top rotates to reveal a hidden storage compartment and opens out to display the original green round baize. The frieze showcases superb wood grain complemented by detailed ormolu embellishments on the sides and front.
 
The table is stands on graceful cabriole legs, adorned with additional ormolu accents at the hip and finished with decorative sabots. As with all antique furniture, there are some imperfections, including minor damage to the green baize, which can be easily replaced if desired.
 
This exceptional piece demonstrates outstanding craftsmanship and quality, making it a stunning addition to any home. Both functional and decorative, it is perfect for bringing timeless elegance to a living room, hallway, or study.
