A 19thc italian pietre dure marble picture of a sheperd boy made of selection of semi precious marble pieces .measuring 33cms h 20cms w these pictures were made by local artists to sell to the wealthy "grand tour" vistors in florence /rome etc.

Wonderful workmanship and this panel is perfect no damage or repair. We are dating as around 1840 .the frame is modern.
