Description

This magnificent specimen cabinet display is a real work of art with the most beautiful examples showcased in beautiful symmetry.

The cabinet is the star piece from seven excellent examples we have recently listed, purchased from a good early 20th century collection. The display includes a blue moon butterfly pinned centrally, flanked either side by a pair of alpine black swallow tail. There are a pair of beautiful Asian swallowtail specimens at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock as well as four pink elephant hawk moths between. The display is crossed with multiple specimens of Green June and Tiger beetles in profusion.

A really stunning case in superb condition.

The cabinet measures 38 cms by 29 cms by 6 cms.
