Handsome George III Mahogany Birdcage Tip Top Table

Description

This is a good George III Mahogany birdcage design tilt top table with elegant plain barrell design dating from around 1800.

The table has a revolving top with tilt action using the original hand forged catch.

This is a good model from the late Regency period and is in great, solid, useable condition with much character.

It has had an old repair to one of the tripod legs, seeming many years ago (see photo) which is quite sound and solid.

The table has a nice colour to the good quality mahogany and a lovely antique patina.

This measures 74 cms high by 82 cms in diameter.
