It stands on a distinctive trestle-ended base with end stretchers, made from chestnut wood, and includes flat tapered legs and a drawer at one end. The table is in good, sturdy condition, with evidence of extinct woodworm and precautionary treatment applied, alongside historical minor restorations. It can comfortably seat eight to a cozy ten and has been raised at some point to provide ample knee clearance.
