The bread board / chopping board extension could accommodate three small children on high days and holidays, with three adults down each side of the table and one at the other end, so ten in all. With the extension pushed in, this table can accommodate six to eight adults comfortably. This exquisite example, of superior quality and with a beautiful colour and patination, is French c.1850 to c.1875. .With the extension board pushed in, the table is 199.5cms long.
