The table has four square sectioned and slightly chamfered legs joined by a low stretcher for maximum strength. It has shaped brackets where the legs join the frieze. The table is made using pegged construction as would be expected in a piece of this age.
This table is of long and relatively narrow proportions It is a fine and particularly attractive piece of English country furniture.
